The Robotiq 3-Finger Adaptive Robot Gripper is an electric 3-finger adaptive gripper for flexible gripping and handling tasks in industry and automation. Its adaptive mechanics make it suitable for workpieces of various sizes and geometries and can cover both form-fit and force-fit gripping tasks.
The gripper offers four different gripping modes as well as independent finger control. Stroke, gripping force, and closing speed are programmable and can be adapted to the respective application. This makes the system suitable for pick-and-place, assembly, quality inspection, and machine tending, among other things.
For integration into automation systems, the 3-Finger Gripper supports Modbus RTU via RS-485. Optional industrial communication protocols are available, including Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT, DeviceNet, and CANopen. The all-metal design is built for robust industrial applications. In addition, the system is plug-and-play capable and UR+ certified.
