ROBOTIQ - EPick Vacuum Gripper

The Robotiq EPick is an electric vacuum gripper that requires no compressed air supply and can be operated directly on the robot arm.

The Robotiq EPick generates its vacuum electrically. It requires neither a compressor nor compressed air lines, making it easier to set up the cell and allowing the gripper to be used in mobile applications as well. With a vacuum flow of 12 l/min and a vacuum level of up to 80%, it handles workpieces with flat and uneven surfaces made of cardboard, glass, dry sheet metal, and plastic.

The bracket and air node can be configured in six gripper variants, allowing them to be adapted to different applications. With one suction cup, the EPick carries up to 4.5 kg, and with four suction cups, up to 16 kg. When mounted on a UR10, the total payload is up to 11.5 kg. For higher throughput, two EPicks can be mounted together to pick up several boxes at once.

Installation takes place in three steps: mount the gripper on the robot wrist, connect a single cable, and install the software. No prior robotics knowledge is required, and no programming is necessary. An LED status indicator signals whether the gripper is active or if a fault exists. The EPick is production-ready for Universal Robots, Techman Robot, and OMRON/TM, and can basically be combined with any cobot.
