Collection: Multi-finger gripper // Dexterous gripper

Dexterous grippers – i.e., multi-finger grippers with human-like kinematics – have been considered a kind of "holy grail" in robotics for years. Five fingers, many degrees of freedom, sensors, AI connection: theoretically the perfect solution for flexible manipulation.

Current dexterous hands now offer an impressive hardware basis:

  • 3-5 fingers
  • 10–15 degrees of freedom
  • Electric drives
  • Partially integrated tactile sensors
  • Industrial-grade interfaces such as RS485 (Modbus) or CAN

Mechanically, these systems are surprisingly advanced. Precision, repeatability, and service life are absolutely competitive for research and demonstration applications.
